New Hub for Lake Somerset
Lake Somerset has opened the doors to a new park reception and kiosk area, just in time for Christmas. The kiosk is stocked with groceries, water sports equipment, drinks and ice creams and you can use the large wrap around deck to enjoy a cool drink and take in the view.
Cracking Lakeview Cabins
This month saw the opening of four new 2 bedroom deluxe cabins at Lake Somerset. The cabins are located on the peninsula of the park with spectacular views of Lake Somerset. They have all the inclusions expected of a four star cabin, including free wireless, Austar, full cooking facilities, laundry and sleep up to 4 people.
All New Accommodation
Port Campbell Holiday Park is currently undergoing an expansion in its accommodation offering with the addition of 12 studio units that sleep 2 people in 3 ½ star comfort. The studios also include an ensuite, lounge area, Austar and tea & coffee making facilities.
Three 2 bedroom villas are also under construction and will be up and running prior to Christmas. They have all the inclusions expected of a four star cabin, including free wireless, Austar, full cooking facilities and sleep up to 4 people.
Cairns Holiday Park Named Finalist
Cairns Holiday Park has been named a finalist in the 2009 Tropical North Queensland Tourism Awards. We wish them luck and hope we can bring home the gong.
Cairns Holiday Park wins HMAA Crown
Cairns Holiday Park has taken home best 4 star Caravan Park at the annual HMAA National Awards for Excellence. It is great for the park to receive industry recognition for the spectacular turnaround it has experienced in the short time since Escape2 Destinations took over.
