Along the way

Day One

Depart Melbourne and head due west for 120 kilometres, travelling via Bacchus Marsh into Daylseford – the spa capital of Victoria. This region is breathtaking all year round.

Go back in time and enjoy brilliant surrounds at the Jubilee Lake Holiday Park. The park is a piece of lakeside paradise. The accommodation on offer will ensure your next two nights will be comfortable and peaceful, with you feeling rested yet energized.

Day Two

Discover Daylseford. The town offers acclaimed cuisine, cellar doors, award winning day spas, spectacular scenery, natural mineral springs, romantic hidden away picnic spots, historic streetscapes, great entertainment, fabulous art and great golf courses. The park managers will happily pre-book all of your activities.

Day Three

Time to bid farewell to Jubilee Lake Holiday Park and head south on the Great Ocean Road.

A scenic 3 hour drive will take you to either the 3-star Portland Bay Holiday Park or the 4-star Port Campbell Holiday Park.

Day Four

Your adventure awaits. Please visit the wonderful endorsement (theartofwalking) for details of the Great Ocean Walk.

The Walk stretches 104 kilometres from the idyllic resort town of Apollo Bay, to within sight of the magnificent 12 Apostles. Weave through beautiful National Parks, walk deserted beaches and gaze over pristine marine sanctuaries.

Walkers can step on and off the trail with convenience. At night, enjoy Escape2’s comfortable accommodation and excellent local meals. Or pitch your tent within the parks and get closer to nature.

Day Five

Today you will drive to Victor Harbor, just over the South Australian border. You may elect to stopover at Robe (265 kilometres + your choice of accommodation) or drive straight through to your relaxing villa, cabin or camping site at Victor Harbor Beachfront Holiday Park (545 kilometres).

Day Six & Seven

Victor Harbor is one hour's drive south of Adelaide, on the shores of Encounter Bay. It is a popular holiday destination with long sandy beaches including Port Elliot's stunning Horseshoe Bay and its nearby islands.

Take in some shopping, fishing, hiking or a myriad of water sports. Also on offer are whale watching tours, golf courses, fishing, bike hire and wineries. The region is also the stepping off point to the Coorong National Park.

The park managers will offer great suggestions for evening dining options.

Day Eight

No need to leave today - just extend your trip and add on a visit to Kangaroo Island.

Tickets to Kangaroo Island can be purchased from our front office and we will see you again on your return trip.

As you depart Victor Harbor Beachfront Holiday Park, ensure you have left your details with the park manager.
